Came here on a Thursday morning and there was no wait. I have been here on a weekend where the wait can be crazy long. This time i decided to try something new instead of my usual breakfast croissant and i think i made a good choice. I had a pumpkin latte with almond milk which was perfect, i can be a little snobby when it comes to my coffee. For my breakfast i had the chicken and waffle. The chicken was lightly breaded, crunchy and not too oily. The waffle was good too with the perfect amount of crisp. I had my waffle with the caramel sauce and syrup on the side as i don’t like my food being too sweet. I give this visit two thumbs up from the service to the food.
My wife and I was in the area so we decided to eat somewhere new. This place was amazing. We had the chicken and waffles with some kind of butter. This dish was excellent. You just need to have the butter melt on the fried chicken and you have an amazing chicken and waffles dish. Then my wife had the pesto chi ken sandwich at that tasted great. I had the breakfast burrito and it was better then expected. Over all the food was pount in and did not have a lot of salt in its dishes. The service was slow but in a good way, so that I could have a long conversation with my wife. If you have a chance to go here you will not be disappointed with the food.
What a darling establishment we stumbled upon! Warm and cozy atmosphere, the staff was amazing, accommodating, and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious! We ate outside in the quaint porch area. It was a bit chilly, but they have heaters so it kept us warm. I had the salmon toast which was scrumptious and my friend had the skillet. We ordered the vegan zucchini bread and it had great texture and flavor! The chai and mimosas were wonderful as well. Definitely would go back and highly recommend for brunch.
Breakfast with my friend for her birthday. Burrito was excellent and generous amount of avocado inside. I had the 2 eggs with 2 sides. I told them I wanted my regular coffee hotter which they easily provided. We parked on Bright avenue public parking. Quick walk to this place
I love uptown Whittier ... new restaurant I came across on Instagram. Service was amazing. And the restaurant was really clean. A Food chicken sandwich was really good but the potato wedges they were OK but next time don’t keep them under the heat lamp too long. I could tell they were there for a while. ..... my son’s food it was amazing the chicken and waffle thank guys definitely coming back.
This place is an amazing brunch spot. I took my gf out to this restaurant and we both loved it. I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We arrived at the place around 11:30 am and we quickly found parking. Upon arriving we were nicely greeted by the hostess in a polite manner and with a smile, then we were told that the wait time would be around 10 min, which ended up feeling less than that. We were seated and our waiter, Mike came to our table to take our drink orders. The drinks came fast and the food as well when we ended up ordering our food. Fast service, and very polite workers. The restrooms were very nice and clean. The ambiance was phenomenal, everything was aesthetically pleasing, homey, peaceful, and quiet. I felt like I could have a nice conversation with my gf and it would still be private. Ahhhh, and most importantly, the food did not disappoint. I got Brioche French toast w/ egg and country potatoes and I loved them, it was delicious, the portions were perfect. My gf got a pesto chicken sandwich which she loved. To drink I got a hot chocolate which was delicious and my gf got a hazelnut coffee. The total was 46.48 which I thought was reasonable, not too expensive. Just about the same cost of going to Denny’s. Overall a great experience, and a great spot to get brunch, I highly recommend it, and I give it a 10/10. If you go, be aware of their hours, they’re open every day except Tuesday, and their hours are 8 am - 1:30 pm. My order for anyone curious: Hot Chocolate: 4.00 Iced Latte: 5.25 (Hazelnut: 0.75) Brioche French Toast: 18.00 Classic, scrambled eggs: (2.50) Auntie’s Potatoes: (2.50) Subtotal: 42.25 LA Tax: 4.33 Total: 46.58
Absolutely the cutest little brunch place in town! Super friendly, huge portions and reasonable prices. I also loved that they have an assortment of substitution for dairy free and gluten free. Only thing is that if you go on Sunday morning, there might be a wait-list! P.S. to the owners, feel free to use these photos!
I have been traveling and enjoying people and food for over 40 years. I love it when i find that one apot that makes you feel special from the moment you come in to the smile and kindness from an owner who sees you are new and wants to enjoy the space she carefully made for us to feel warm. What a wonderful experience! Thank you for the hospitality, conversation, and amazing food!
